Small edit

I have moved the very end of Chapter 9 to the start of Chapter 10. This is how it was originally meant to be. I had only messed with it for chapter-lengths, but now I think I can put it back as it was supposed to be. It’s better because the entirety of the Jonas-Alvaro fight (yes, they fight… oh go on, you know you wanted them to) is together in one chapter. I never really liked splitting it.

Anyhoo… back to Chapter 11! 781 words so far today! I am happy with that. Chapter 11 is currently 2,868 words. So, no, I didn’t finish it today. But it is looking decent. My aim is usually for about 3,500, but most of my chapters go over 4,000. It’s just how it works out.

Deb E was born in New Zealand’s North Island, but her parents corrected that within months, moving south to Dunedin and staying there. Childhood nights were spent falling asleep to cover versions of Cliff Richard and the Shadows and other Rock ’n Roll classics played by her father’s band, and days were spent dancing to 45 LPs. Many of her first writing experiences were copying down song lyrics. She graduated to scientific reports when she studied a nematophagus fungus in the Zoology department of the University of Otago, trading all traces of popularity for usefulness… then traded both for fiction. Mum of one human & four fur-babies.
